Bruins Sign Dalton Bancroft

The Boston Bruins have announced that they have signed winger Dalton Bancroft of Cornell University to a one year contract with an AAV of $950,000, the maximum allowed under the CBA. Bancroft will report to Providence on an ATO for the remainder of this season.

Bancroft was on my list of players I had hoped for the Bruins to target.

Bancroft was a teammate and linemate of Bruins draft pick Ryan Walsh with Cornell. The pair finished 1-2 in scoring for the Big Red and leading them to the NCAA Tournament, where they lost a heartbreaker to BU and a chance at the Frozen Four.
