Kirill Yemelyanov – Loko Yaroslav – MHL

On Tuesday, Loko handled JHC Atlant 4–1. Trailing 1–0 on a power play, Yemelyanov won an offensive‑zone draw and drove straight to the net. As the puck worked its way to the far side, he kept his stick available and redirected a perfect feed for his 27th goal of the season. He finished with one shot on goal, went 12‑for‑16 on faceoffs, and logged 17:13 of ice time.

On Friday, Loko fell 2–1 to Cherepovets Almaz. Yemelyanov was held off the scoresheet, finished at minus‑1, and recorded two shots on goal across six attempts. He went 10‑for‑16 on faceoffs and logged 19:41 of ice time.

Loko rolled past Red Machine–Yunior 6–1 on Sunday, with Yemelyanov scoring once on two shots, winning eight of 11 draws, and logging 15:57 of ice time. His goal was classic Yemelyanov—parked at the top of the crease, stick down, ready to bury a tap‑in—and it capped the scoring on the night.

Casper Nassen – Miami (Ohio)

Miami dropped its fourth straight on Friday in a 5–2 loss to Minnesota–Duluth, and Casper Nassen was held off the scoresheet for a sixth consecutive game, finishing plus‑1 with one shot on goal in 12:30 of ice time.

William Zellers, – University of North Dakota

Officially it went into the books as a 4–4 tie Friday, but St. Cloud State claimed the shootout over North Dakota. With the game knotted 1–1, Zellers took a pass in the right circle and snapped a wrister home to give UND the lead, and after they fell behind 4–3 late in the third, he pulled them even again with a one‑timer from the bottom of the right circle to force overtime. He added an assist, finished plus‑3 with four shots on goal, and came up empty on his shootout attempt.

North Dakota answered back in Saturday’s rematch with a 6–4 win, while Zellers was held off the scoresheet despite generating a game‑high five shots on goal and finishing minus‑1 in 20:44 of ice time.

North Dakota has two games remaining at Western Michigan next weekend.

James Hagens, Oskar Jellvik, Andre Gasseau, Dean Letourneau, Kristian Kostadinski, Will Moore – Boston College

It was as close to a must win game as it could be for Boston College on Friday and they prevailed with a 5-2 win over Connecticut. James Hagens led the way with 3 goals. He was a plus-1 with 6 shots on goal and 19:49 time on ice.

Dean Letourneau and Andre Gasseau each contributed 3 assists. Letourneau was a minus-1 with 3 shots on goal and 9 for 15 on the dot with 18:55 time on ice. Gasseau was an even plus/minus, no shots on goal and 11 for 21 on the dot with 18:17 time on ice.

Will Moore was pointless, had two shots on goal and was 3 for 11 on faceoffs while Kristian Kostadinski was also pointless and without a shot on goal with 13:18 time on ice. Oskar Jellvik did not play.

The Saturday rematch needed overtime, with Boston College pulling out a 2–1 win. Trailing 1–0 late in the first on a power play, Letourneau took a pass in the left circle and ripped a quick, pinpoint wrist shot to tie it. Then, just 27 seconds into the 3‑on‑3 overtime, Gasseau and Hagens combined to set up the winner.

Letourneau had 3 shots on goal and was 7 for 13 on the dot on his birthday. Gasseau had 4 shots on goal and was 12 for 22 on the dot while Hagens led all shooters with 5 shots on goal. Moore was pointless and was 5 for 10 on the dot without a shot on goal. Kostadinski was also pointless and without a shot on goal. Jellvik did not play.

Chris Pelosi, Elliott Groenewold – Quinnipiac University

Elliott Groenewold, a 2024 fourth‑round pick and Quinnipiac blueliner, began the weekend sitting 10th all‑time in modern D‑I NCAA single‑season plus/minus and 4th among defensemen. How did he make out?

Quinnipiac, playing without Pelosi yet again, endured a lopsided 6–1 loss to Cornell on Friday. Groenewold was held off the scoresheet, registered two shots on goal, and finished a rare minus‑3 in 19:11 of ice time.

Pelosi returned to the lineup Saturday as Quinnipiac bounced back with a 5–2 win over Colgate. He chipped in an assist, put two shots on goal, and finished plus‑1. Groenewold was also held without a point, registered three shots, and ended the night plus‑1, dropping to plus‑38 on the season and slipping just outside the top‑10 in the single‑season rankings.

Quinnipiac has two games remaining at Dartmouth and at Harvard next weekend.

Jonathan Morello – Boston University

BU did not play this week and have two games remaining – a back-to-back with Boston College next weekend.

Beckett Hendrickson – University of Minnesota

Ryan Walsh – Cornell University

As mentioned, Cornell rolled past Quinnipiac 6–1 on Friday, and Ryan Walsh was held off the scoresheet despite finishing plus‑1, generating four shots on goal, and going 8‑for‑22 on draws in 19:32 of ice time.

Walsh snapped a 10‑game drought on Saturday with his first goal since January 10, but it wasn’t enough as Cornell fell 4–2 to Princeton. He finished with two shots on goal, a minus‑1 rating, and went 12‑for‑18 on faceoffs while logging 22:23 of ice time.

Cornell has two games remaining against St Lawrence and Clarkson next weekend.

Mason Langenbrunner – Harvard University

Harvard fell 4–1 to Union on Friday, with Langenbrunner held off the scoresheet, finishing minus‑1 with one shot on goal in 16:26 of ice time.

Western Michigan has two games remaining against North Dakota next weekend.

Providence Bruins

Providence 5 – Belleville 2

It was a franchise‑record 13th straight home win on Friday, as they handled the visiting Belleville Senators 5–2.

It took just 27 seconds to break through, with Billy Sweezey springing Brett Harrison in alone and Harrison snapping a wrist shot inside the left post to stake the early lead.

Belleville pulled even with 9:33 gone in the first, but just 19 seconds later Riley Tufte jumped on a rebound and lifted a backhand past the glove to reclaim the lead, with Matej Blumel picking up the assist.

Midway through the second, Belleville drew even again, but with 5:13 left in the period Matej Blumel hammered a one‑timer off a Georgii Merkulov setup to restore the lead yet again.

Harrison stretched the lead with 30 seconds left in the period, getting a piece of a Merkulov shot in the slot for the redirect, with Victor Soderstrom also picking up an assist.

Just 24 seconds later, Joey Abate made it 5-2 on a shot on a 2-1 to close out the scoring. Jake Schmaltz and Christian Wolanin earned the assists.

Michael DiPietro stopped 25 of 27 shots he faced including a penalty shot for the win.

Providence 2 – Springfield 3

Providence’s run ended Saturday in a 3–2 loss to Springfield, though Tufte opened the scoring with a sharp‑angle strike that snuck in with 8:44 left in the first. Blumel and Patrick Brown picked up the assists.

Springfield answered with three straight goals before Matthew Poitras cut into the deficit on a power play with 2:44 left in regulation, but the comeback fell short. Blumel and Soderstrom collected the assists.

Luke Cavallin took his first loss of the season despite turning aside 30 of 33 shots, a result that had far more to do with Providence’s listless play in front of him than anything he did in net.

Providence 2 – Hartford 5

Providence fell behind 4–0 before Brown finally broke through, snapping a shot from the slot off a feed from Riley Duran just 3:32 into the second period.

Soderstrom took a Merkulov feed in the right circle and snapped a wrist shot inside the far post 3:58 into the third to cut the deficit to two, but that was as close as Providence would get. Poitras picked up the secondary assist.

DiPietro stopped 22 of 27 shots he faced in what was a mediocre start for him.
